A recruitment assignment does not start with a list of players, but with a precise question. Here is how every assignment runs, step by step.
Every step has a clear purpose and produces something the club can actually use.
You fill in the request form: position sought, number of players, age range, preferred foot, type of player, your club's style of play, transfer and salary budgets, target leagues, and when the player is needed.
A direct conversation — call or video — covers what a form cannot: the club's culture, the exact role expected in the system, internal constraints, and what has already been tried.
The database is queried across every criterion: sporting level, age, position, technical and tactical profile, statistics, potential, contract situation, availability, estimated salary and fee, fit with the league and the style of play, development potential and resale potential.
The pool is filtered on how realistic each file is: is the player genuinely reachable, is the selling club open, does the salary fit your wage structure? An attractive but unreachable profile has no place on a shortlist.
Every shortlisted player is analysed in depth: technical and tactical reading, behaviour on and off the ball, physical data, statistics set against the position and the level of their league, current level and room for progression.
Profiles are ranked and scored on how well they answer the need as stated. The score is not a measure of talent in the abstract : it is a measure of fit with your club, this position, on this budget.
The shortlisted players are set side by side on the same criteria — age, transfer cost, salary, scouting rating, potential, fit — so the decision rests on comparable ground rather than on an impression.
The full report is presented to you with a reasoned recommendation: which player, why him, on what terms, and what the risks of the file are. Throughout the window, any opportunity that comes up is flagged to you.
A shortlist is not a list of names. It is a reasoned, costed ranking you can take straight into a board meeting.
Shortlisted profiles are set side by side on the same criteria. This is the grid used — the values are filled in on the report sent to the club.

A few minutes are enough to send over your brief. The framing happens in conversation afterwards.
